Jeffrey W. Cavignac, CPCU, RPLU, CRIS, President Jeff graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1980 with a degree in economics. He received his initial insurance training at Lloyds of London. Subsequently, Jeff spent three years with Industrial Indemnity Company as a property and casualty underwriter. During that time he attained the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. Jeff joined the commercial insurance brokerage firm of Robson, Cavignac & Associates in 1983. He remained there until February 1992 during which time he rose to the position of Executive Vice President. In February of 1992, Jeff Cavignac formed Cavignac & Associates Insurance Brokers. He presently serves as its President. Jeff was awarded the coveted Registered Professional Liability Underwriter designation in 1999. Jeff is a past board member of Voices for Children, the Executives Association of San Diego, the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of San Diego, the Professional Liability Agents Network, and the Child Abuse Prevention Foundation. Presently, Jeff is on the Board of the San Diego Downtown Partnership, the Downtown YMCA, the San Diego Architectural Foundation and the Professional Liability Agents Network (PLAN).
