Biographies
Jeffrey J. Steen, RPLU, CIC, Account Executive
Jeff graduated from the University of San Diego in 1994 with a degree in finance. He began his insurance career in 1996 with State Farm Insurance Companies in Encinitas. As a licensed fire and casualty agent, Jeff gained experience writing various lines of commercial insurance, such as workers compensation, commercial general liability, and commercial auto.
In November 1999, Jeff joined Cavignac & Associates as an Account Executive. Jeff specializes in professional liability for architects, engineers, and environmental consultants. In addition to working closely with design professionals, he also handles the insurance needs of building owners, manufacturers, contractors, and other San Diego businesses.
Jeff has earned the Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations. Presently he is active with the Professional Liability Agents Network (PLAN) and the San Diego Chapter of the Civil Engineers and Land Surveyors of California (CELSOC).
