Stuart Nakutin, CSIT, CSA, CEET, WCCP
Director of Loss Control Services
Born and
raised in Los Angles, California, Stuart Nakutin received his Bachelor of
Liberal Arts and Sciences degree in English from San Diego State
University. Since 1989, he has worked
extensively with OSHA, loss control, claims handling and management.
Prior to joining Cavignac
& Associates in 2004, Stuart worked as a Claims Manager for Golden
Eagle Insurance Corporation, a subsidiary of Liberty Mutual, where his
responsibilities included managing claims as well as coordinating safety
programs and educational seminars for agents. He is responsible for
managing loss reduction services, safety training, workers compensation
and overall risk management for some of Cavignac & Associates’ larger
clients.
Stuart regularly
conducts a variety of classes, including OSHA 10-Hour
Training; Confined Space, Excavation & Trenching; Fall Protection;
Lockout-Tagout; Forklift Safety; Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and
Injury & Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) courses.
Stuart is currently on the Safety Boards of the ABC and
AGC.
Stuart currently resides in Poway, California with
his family. Actively involved in his community, Stuart teaches karate classes to
children in his neighborhood, and is also very involved as a youth teacher at his
church. In his leisure time, Stuart enjoys practicing karate, running
and nature.
