The County of San Diego has laid out specific measures applied to businesses allowed to open as part of the Safe Reopening Plan. Businesses need to complete the County’s Safe Reopening Plan, print and post it at their entrance.

Businesses are required to implement all mandatory measures listed in section A and B of the County’s Safe Reopening Plan which includes signage requirements and measures to protect employee’s health. The mandatory measures include having temperature taken upon reporting to work. If no thermometer is not available, employees must be screened for symptoms, maximize teleworking opportunities, facial coverings, work stations design that maintains at least six feet apart from others, cleaning and disinfection schedule, appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, location of hand washing stations and copies of the protocol distributed to all employees.

At this point the County is not is not requiring employers submit the plan and the approval for the plan is not required.
